Summary:

The Think Big Regatta 2015 is an exciting event for the mobile telecommunications industry. Small wonder then that the inaugural regatta last year got an excellent reception and the 2015 event promises to be equally popular. The Regatta combines team building and yacht racing with the support of a fantastic charity – Think Big. This is an event with a strong emphasis on networking. To this end, a mixture of light hearted racing is combined with entertainments to provide a great atmosphere for socialising.

No experience is necessary as each yacht will come with two professional crew. The crew are happy to teach novices and coach those who feel they need their hand held to start with. Irrespective of your level of experience, you will be able to enjoy a fun and competitive event.

Each team participating in the regatta will be able to bring a team of eight guests. There is a choice of two different types of yachts, the Beneteau 40.7 and the Beneteau First 40, both of which are extremely mobile vessels and it won’t be long before all of your crew are performing on the same band width. Competitors join the yachts in port Hamble and, after training and the extremely sleek high speed racing lunch, racing commences with yachts indulging in tacking duels and downwind tussles for several hours and competitors retire to the peace of Cowes Yacht Haven around 5pm. Here competitors prepare for the post race dinner and drinks. This is a great chance to dial in for a spot of social networking.

The following day, hostilities are resumed before competitors return to Port Hamble for afternoon tea and prize giving. The question is, will your team be up on the podium?
